Seedance 2.5 Video Generator

Turn any photo into a Seedance 2.5 video — thirty seconds in a single take, native audio, up to 4K. Pay per video, no subscription.

SEEDANCE 2.5, AT TWO PRICES

Both are in the generator above — pick Seedance 2 · 2.5 in the model menu, then use the Turbo switch to trade the outer resolutions for a much lower rate.

SEEDANCE 2.5, ANSWERED

Is Seedance 2.5 free to use?

Not on free credits alone. This is the most expensive model here: the cheapest 2.5 clip is 130 credits for 4 seconds at 480p, against the 50 credits a new signed-in account gets. Those free credits do cover a Seedance 2 Mini clip at 36, one generation back in the same family. Either way there is no subscription and no card up front — you pay per video.

How much does Seedance 2.5 cost?

It is priced per second and the rate follows the resolution. A 5-second clip is 162 credits at 480p, 324 at 720p, 810 at 1080p and 1,620 at native 4K. Turning Turbo on cuts that hard — 180 at 720p, 189 at 1080p. A full 30 seconds is 972 credits at 480p. The exact number sits on the Make Video button before anything is spent.

What is new in Seedance 2.5 compared with Seedance 2.0?

Length, mainly: 2.5 renders up to 30 seconds where 2.0 stops at 15, and it does it as one continuous take rather than a cut sequence. ByteDance also widened the reference input to 30 images and sharpened prompt following and lip-sync. Seedance 2.0 is still in the same menu and still far cheaper — a 5-second Mini clip is 36 credits against 162.

Can Seedance 2.5 really make a 30-second video in one go?

Yes — 30 seconds is generated in a single pass together with its audio, not four clips stitched afterwards, and that is the change ByteDance shipped on 31 July 2026. Pick 30s from the length menu: it is 972 credits at 480p and 1,944 at 720p. ByteDance's own tools can extend past 30 seconds in further rounds; this generator serves the single pass.

How many reference images can Seedance 2.5 use?

Thirty, counting the photo you start from. Upload the main image, then add up to 29 more in the row beneath it, and Seedance reads them for characters, objects and locations. Pages quoting 50 are adding three separate inputs together: ByteDance's limit is 30 images, 10 video clips and 10 audio clips. Video and audio references are not wired up here yet.

Does Seedance 2.5 generate audio?

Yes, and there is no switch to forget. Sound comes out of the same pass as the picture from one joint audio-video model, so dialogue, effects and room tone land on the frames they belong to rather than being laid over afterwards. Audio is always on at every resolution, and it is inside the per-second price rather than charged for separately.

Can Seedance 2.5 make 4K video?

Yes, natively — 4K sits at the top of the resolution menu and is rendered at that size rather than upscaled from a smaller pass. It is the expensive end of an expensive model: 1,620 credits for 5 seconds, 9,720 for the full 30. Draft the shot at 480p or on Turbo first and re-run the one you like at 4K, since the prompt and image carry over.

Can I do region editing or timestamp control here?

No. Those are 2.5 features ByteDance exposes through its own products — green screen, camera perspective, and edits pinned to a timestamp. What this generator gives you is the image-to-video path: one photo plus up to 29 reference images, a prompt, a length from 4 to 30 seconds, resolution up to native 4K, and the Turbo toggle.

Is this the official Seedance website?

No. Photo to Video is an independent product by Joseph Works Limited that runs Seedance 2.5 through official API partners, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by ByteDance. The upside is the menu beside it: Kling, Wan, Veo, Vidu, MiniMax H3 and Sora are one click away on the same credits, so a shot that does not land can be re-run elsewhere.
